This Ethiopian opal blazes with otherworldly intensity — electric blue, emerald, violet, crimson, and gold erupting like captured aurora across a dark sky. Formed in volcanic rock, it carries the memory of its fiery origins: silica-rich deposits transformed over millions of years into a luminous gem that holds whole universes inside it that shift with every motion. Ancient fire, patient alchemy. Hand-selected and bezel-set in 14k or 18k gold, suspended from a fine chain to elevate the everyday with quiet but undeniable magic.

There are two metal choices:
• Solid 14k yellow gold.
• Solid 18k yellow gold.

The rolo chain is adjustable (16" / 18").
The opal measures approximately 8 x 10 mm.

The precious opal is known for its “play of color” — a unique shifting display of iridescent hues — and its name is derived from the Latin word opalus, which comes from the Ancient Greek word opállios, meaning “to see a change of color.” It is believed to symbolize hope, purity, confidence, creativity, and inspiration.

Opal is one of the birthstones for October and marks the 14th anniversary.
